About Honorwood Flocks
The Honorwood Flocks are based at Cefn Llanfair which is a small working farm situated on a plateau above the beautiful Teifi Valley near to the village of Llandysul, Ceredigion, West Wales. Since 1993 we have specialized in the breeding and keeping of Shetland, Icelandic, Soay, and Jacob sheep (all of which are coloured breeds) together with white Angora Goats. Our sheep
The sheep provide us with wonderful natural coloured fleeces . The colours come as nature gives them to us and each batch of fleece spun will always give a unique and different effect. Our Angora Goat kids provide the fine kid mohair which, when spun into yarn, is hand-dyed in a range of beautiful colours here on the farm.About wools and yarns
We have our sheep fleeces and the mohair spun at a Welsh mill, so for the knitter there are a variety of knitting wools and knitting yarns in both natural coloured wools and the luxurious hand-dyed kid mohair and mohair/lambs’ wool mix. For hand-spinning and felting there are interesting fleeces both from our pure breed and crossbreed sheep (supplied raw or washed/carded) plus mohair fibre. Our knitwear
Our knitting wools and knitting yarns are used in our quality hand-knitted and hand-framed knitwear, which together with our stock of woven rugs/throws are all made locally. Peter and Christine Everitt welcome you to their website for The Honorwood Flocks and hope you enjoy viewing the various pages.
